Born at Hathras, U.P., India and his age is about 72 years. Initially he studied economics also and did graduation in Civil Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University and post graduation in Water Resources from Roorkee University. He worked on senior positions in Central Water Commission, Government of India. He also worked on a bilateral assignment on saline land reclamation and water development projects in Iraq, Government of Iraq for five years and there after as expert with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) for over five years on the projects, Government of Saudi Arabia. He also worked as Team Leader on land and water development projects Government of Yemen for one year, on a joint venture project where other participants were from Germany and U.S.A. He had interest in economics and literature also. His interest in literature is evident in some publications as have been obtained from time to time. His professional experience and illustrious literary contribution deserve appreciation.
